130 years of tradition: Photos/videos of the Pageant of the Old West 4th of July Parade in Lander, Wyoming

(Lander, WY) – In what was probably the most idyllic Independence Day weather Lander has had in recent memory, the 130th Pageant of the Old West 4th of July Parade was definitely one for ages.

Hundreds, if not a few thousand attendees made their way to Main Street for the festivities this year, which had 91 official parade entries (and easily over 100 when accounting for last minute float/entrant additions), which even included Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon.

The 2024 Parade Marshals were U.S. Navy Veteran Jim Stewart, U.S. Army Veteran and Eastern Shoshone Tribal member John Wadda, and Honorary Parade Marshal/lifelong Lander resident Dick Parker.
