Laramie Police Officers arrested a 14-year-old male on July 21st after allegedly fatally shooting a 13-year-old male.
In the early morning hours of the 21st, Laramie Police Officers were dispatched to the 2100 block of Thornburg for “a report of a young male who had been shot,” according to a release from the Laramie Police Department (LPD) this morning.
The 14-year-old was arrested and charged with manslaughter following the officer’s investigation. Court processes and sentencing will vary since this is a juvenile matter, according to LPD.
The 13-year-old was taken to Ivinson Memorial Hospital in Laramie and later transported to a Denver hospital, where he died.
No other information was released at this time.
