Fremont County Incident Management Team has released the following information and statistics today, November 12th.
Current Statistics for Fremont County COVID-19:
- 523 Active COVID-19 cases in Fremont County
- 6885 Active Cases in Wyoming
- 21 Deaths due to COVID-19 in Fremont County
- 10.9% Percentage of positives to total tests in Fremont County
- 19 Current Hospitalizations due to COVID-19 in Fremont County
Message from Fremont County Health:
COVID-19 cases are spiking in Fremont County. If we don’t all chip in and help each other out, things will get worse. All of the key public health indicators are in a serious condition in Fremont County.
No one wants to return to the lockdowns we had in the spring.
Please wear a mask or face covering in public.
Wash your hands frequently.
Stay away from groups & gatherings where distancing and mask advice are not followed.
Stay home when you are sick, even if you think it is a cold.
The Hospitals are struggling to keep up due to the number of staff and doctors already in isolation or quarantine. They are recruiting outside providers for assistance.
Ultimately, this matter is up to each & every county resident.
This is not a political issue!
It is a health and safety issue.
