(Riverton, WY)—The Riverton Rendezvous Balloon Rally has been a tradition for over 40 years. Balloonists travel from all over to take to the Riverton skies one weekend every July, offering rides and providing the experience of working on a balloon crew.
The 2024 Rally is underway this weekend, with the balloons taking off early in the morning on Friday and Saturday. There is still one more day to catch them launching at the Central Wyoming College (CWC) Soccer Fields tomorrow, July 21, at 6 a.m. Of course, this is dependent upon the weather. There will be no tethered balloon rides on Sunday.
Happening now until 4 p.m. today, July 20, is the Rocky Mountain Rebels Car Show at CWC. The Autocross is also happening today in the Art Center parking lot on campus.
Come back to the CWC Soccer Fields tonight, starting at 7 p.m., for live music and food trucks before the Balloon Glow, which begins at 8:30 p.m. (weather permitting). Stick around for fireworks to cap off the evening at 10 p.m. from Jaycee Park. Please note the Park will be closed.
