(Riverton, WY)—The Benevolent, Patriotic Order of Does, Drove #48, Riverton, Wyoming, is hosting the 2024 Wyoming State Convention, which will take place from September 5 through 8.
Shelia Tangney, Supreme President, will attend. She is the third Doe from Wyoming to fill this position.
Her theme as Supreme President is “Scatter Kindness.” She feels “that in a world where you can be anything, be kind.”
The last state convention was held in 2021. The 2024 convention will include the following events for Does only.
September 5: Meet-and-greet at the Riverton County Club, cocktails at the Elks at 5 p.m., and dinner at the Riverton Country Club at 6 p.m.
September 6: Morning meeting at the Elks, lunch at the Brown Sugar Roastery, and 1 p.m. ceremony practice at the Elks. Taco Bar at 5 p.m., with the opening ceremony at 6 p.m., both at the Elks.
September 7: Continental breakfast at 7:30 a.m., meeting at 9 a.m., lunch at 1 p.m., no-host cocktail hour at 5 p.m., and banquet dinner at 6 p.m. at the Elks.
September 8: Breakfast at 8 a.m. at the Elks.
