All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Ryan Monroe, 32, of Fremont County, is facing one count of domestic battery – 3rd or subsequent.
The charges are related to a domestic violence report wich is allegeded to have occured at a Riverton residence on June 11, 2019. Monroe waived his preliminary hearing on July 30th, 2019 so the case is being transferred to District Court.

Court documents describe a physical assault in which Monroe threw the victim to the ground. Monroe allegedly took off on foot after the vicitm called the police.
The responding officer observed bruising and torn skin consistent with an injury that had just occured.
It is reported Monroe was arrested on June 17th, 2019 for a FCSO warrant, trespass notice and citation for domestic battery.
Monroe is being charged with:
- One count domestic battery – 3rd or subsequent (felony) has a maximum penalty of imprisonment of not more than 10 years, a fine of not more than $10,000 or both.
