(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, May 13, will be hot, dry, and windy, the hottest day of the week, with record high temperatures near 90 degrees likely.
Along with the heat, southwest winds of 25 to 35 miles per hour will develop by afternoon. The very warm temperatures, along with the wind and relative humidity as low as 10 percent, will translate into high fire danger. We will also see some virga showers, with any rain that falls from the clouds evaporating before reaching the ground.
Tonight will be partly cloudy, with lows in the mid 50s, and windy, with southwest winds of 25 to 35 miles per hour continuing.
