(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that as high pressure continues to build into the area today, August 17, we will see sunny and hotter conditions.
Lipson added we could see some isolated showers up in the Wind River Mountains this evening, otherwise tonight will be partly to mostly cloudy.
The National Weather Service in Riverton has also shared that showers and thunderstorms move into southwest Wyoming later this afternoon, moving east/northeast, which could lead to strong wind gusts over 40 mph.
High temperatures will be in the 80’s and 90’s today, with lows tonight in the 50’s and 60’s.
