A one-vehicle rollover south of Riverton on WY-135 (Sand Draw Road) in the early morning hours of September 26th claimed the life of 23-year-old Ricardo Ramos.
The Fremont County Coroner’s report was released on October 13th and says his cause of death is trauma sustained in the crash and manner of death is accidental.
Driver fatigue was listed as a possible contributing factor in the rollover. Also, Ramos was reportedly not wearing his seatbelt.
Coroner Mark Stratmoen shared this week that most motor-vehicle death victims so far in 2020 have not been wearing seatbelts which decreases survivability.
Under the relevant toxicology on the Coroner report, a blood alcohol level of .133% is listed.
No other information has been released at this time. County 10 will share an update if new information becomes available.
