(Fremont County, WY) – Aethel Energy, which acquired Contango’s Wyoming assets last year, continues its efforts to give back to the community, and recently donated funds to various groups across the county last week.
Aethel’s Katrena Crimm shared the following photos from the check presentations, along with details on what some of these funds will go toward.
“For the Shoshoni FBLA national competition, they had 18 kids qualify for nationals which means they had to place in the top four in the state to qualify. Nationals was held in San Antonio this past June. Cassidy Eastman with Shoshoni School and Randy Schrinar with Aethel Energy.”
“Randy Schrinar, Aethel Energy and Shoshoni Senior Center Director. Projects they have going are new carpet, paint, putting in a generator and updating security cameras. They are having a fundraiser this weekend at the street fair. Please stop by and support your local Senior Center.”
“The funds are used to buy an aluminum bending break to do all the trim on the house they are building in Construction Tech class. Randy Schrinar with Aethel Energy and Cory Clemetson with Shoshoni School.”
“Randy Schrinar with Aethel Energy and Mike Streeter with Shoshoni Volunteer Fire Department. The Shoshoni Volunteer Fire Department is raising K12 saw which will enable them to cut aluminum. They have had issues in the past where they were unable to cut aluminum and cut open a cattle pot that was in a wreck.”
“Randy Schrinar with Aethel Energy and Cody Martin with Missouri Valley Fire Department. The funds will go to 2 Scholarships for Shoshoni High School and Fire awareness education.”

The funds will go towards the Sheriff’s office winter gear and the search and rescue equipment. Mike Hutchinson: “We really appreciate the local support. This will make a difference for our deputies as these funds will help offset personal costs for winter gear.””

CES likes to get the people involved in the community as much as possible. CES has been around for 51 years, helping the people with disabilities in our community stay active.””
“The Riverton Senior Center is working on its HVAC system. Salli Allard, board of directors representative, and Amanda Wilderman, new director for the Riverton Senior Center. They are planning a yard sale on Saturday, the 26th of September. Please come out and support your local senior center. Amanda Wilderman: “Come down to the fall festival and head on over for the yard sale. We would love some foot traffic and new seniors; anyone 60 and over is welcome. They are very short on meals and wheels drivers. They are in need of volunteers for ideas and line dancing.””
