(Riverton, WY) – Aethel Energy, which acquired Contango’s Wyoming assets last year, continues efforts to give back to the community, and recently donated funds to the Fremont County Fair. The check will go towards the awards used across all classes and species at the fair.
“At Aethel Energy, we are proud to support the Fremont County Fair Awards and the outstanding young people who make the fair such a success,” Aethel Senior Asset Lead Katrena Crimm said of the donation. “Our donation will help recognize youth achievements across all project areas, including static exhibits, livestock, and equine.”

Aethel Energy is honored to support the Fremont County Fair and the continued success of our local 4-H youth.”
Aethel Energy, which acquired Contango’s Wyoming assets including Lost Cabin, Madden, Salt Creek, and others, continues to make local involvement a part of how it operates. Alongside its field operations and gas processing facilities, the company employs roughly 220 people across the state and participates in community outreach and charitable efforts in the towns where its crews live.
