(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, May 9, a short-wave trough will track across Wyoming and destabilize the atmosphere, possibly resulting in scattered afternoon thunderstorms. Some of these storms will produce 40 mph wind gusts and small hail.
Otherwise, expect northeast winds of 20-30 mph, and high temperatures in the mid 60s. Tonight will be mostly clear with lows in the upper 30s to near 40, with northeast winds of 15-25 mph in the evening.
Tomorrow, Sunday, as high pressure builds back into the area, expect sunny skies, with highs in the mid-70s and light winds.
