(Fremont County, WY) – The National Weather Service in Riverton has reported that today, July 22, will be another warm, breezy, and mostly dry day.
Elevated to critical fire weather will be the main concern across central and southern Wyoming, and the Red Flag Warning remains in effect for Fremont County until 8 PM this evening. There will also be some showers and thunderstorm development in the afternoon, mostly limited to northern areas.
High temperatures will vary across the 10 today, with Lander, Riverton, and Shoshoni in the 90s; Jeffrey City and Dubois in the 80s; and the South Pass area at 79 degrees. Lows tonight will be in the lower 60s.
