(Lander, WY) – The Fremont County Commissioners convened for their regular meeting yesterday, July 23. Below is a recap.
A revised estimate in the amount of $196,239.96, an increase of $28,000 from the original bid, from Y2 Consultants for the Squaw – Baldwin Creek Strategic Plan was approved.
A certificate of final completion was received from Precision Dirt Works Inc. for the Crooks Gap – Cattle Guard Replacement Project.
Permission to access and construct utilities in a right-of-way easement was approved for Rocky Mountain Power in Atlantic City.
Permission to access and construct utilities in a right-of-way easement was approved for the Aspen Meadows Subdivision in Dubois.
The contract between Wyoming Department of Family Services and Fremont County Board of Commissioners was approved.
The Wyoming Juvenile Justice Data Collection Project Agreement between University of Wyoming, Wyoming Survey & Analysis Center and Juvenile Justice Services of Fremont County was approved.
A Service Agreement between the City of Riverton and the Juvenile Justice Services of Fremont County was approved.
Treatment Court funding contract between the Wyoming Judicial Branch and Board of Fremont County Commissioners for the Fremont County Juvenile Treatment Court was approved, which shall provide an alternate sentencing option for the Judicial system in cases stemming from substance abuse. A confidentiality agreement for this contract was also approved.
An amendment to the Master Service Agreement between Workpartners and Fremont County amending the effective date was approved.
An annual contract in the amount of $36,076.20 between Fremont County and Communications Technologies Inc. for maintenance and coverage on radios, repeaters and remotes was approved.
A bid amount of $9,324.00 from Teton Trailers for the Transportation Department, authorized on the FYE25 capital revolving list, was approved for the purchase of a 22′ tilt deck trailer. Funds are to come out of the transportation balance fund.
Resolution No. 2024-22 “Establishing Fire Restrictions” was approved for FY 2024-2025.
A bid from Central Auto Restoration and Collision in the amount of $4,050.53 was accepted to fix damage to a Building Maintenance truck after a tree fell on it during a wind storm.
Kari Price was appointed to a one-year term on the Fremont County Museum Board.
