(Lander, WY) – The Fremont County Commissioners held their regular meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 6. Below is a recap.
Permission to access and construct utilities in a right-of-way easement was approved for Black Hills Wyoming Gas LLC on Zuber Rd in Riverton.
A standard agreement for professional services between Fremont County and DOWL was approved for reconstruction on Dutch Ed Lane not to exceed $300,000.
A bid for the Fremont County Striping Project was approved and awarded to All-Star Striping with a bid of $195,699.75.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Fremont County Government and City of Riverton was approved, sharing the reconstruction cost of Riverview Road from Spire Drive to Rein Road.
A change to the simple subdivision regulations was approved on the recommendation of the Planning Commission that would involve cases where there is a significant up front infrastructure cost. The County Commissioners may approve final plat with instructions that the plat must be retained until the infrastructure has been installed, inspected by a licensed Wyoming engineer, and signed off as meeting the subdivision regulations.
The Board approved Washut West Subdivision, a five-lot simple subdivision.
The Board approved Buffalo Grass Subdivision, a five-lot simple subdivision.
