UPDATE @ 6:15pm: Injuries have been reported. Their severity is unknown at this time. Authorities remain on the scene awaiting a special team from Casper, according to scanner traffic. Continue to avoid the area and yield to responders.
(Shoshoni, WY) – County 10 picked up police scanner reports of a rail car explosion on Muskrat Road outside of Shoshoni.
Both Riverton and County Fire Departments were dispatched.
Expect heavy law enforcement presence in the area, and exercise extreme caution.
County 10 will update on the situation as more information comes in.
