(Riverton, WY) – A twin-engine Cessna safely completed an emergency landing at Central Wyoming Regional Airport shortly after 9:30 AM Monday.
The flight departed Denver’s Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport at 7:51 AM, according to information from FlightAware. 67 minutes after takeoff, the aircraft abruptly changed heading, altitude, and airspeed.
The cause of the emergency was reported to be the loss of one of the plane’s two prop engines.
The FAA will investigate the incident.
