(Lander, WY) – The Fremont County Commissioners met for their regular meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 3. Below is a recap.
Resolution No. 2024-26 was approved, “Appointment of a Special Prosecutor.”
Two change orders were approved for the election storage building: Gaudern Construction, Inc. in the amount of $2,112.00 for replacing sidewalk and curb for utility cuts and $4,984.00 for computer drops and internet for security cameras.
A change order from Perfect Power in the amount of $3,220.77 was approved for the Lander Search and Rescue Building Project.
The Logan Subdivision variance and easements were approved and a final plat will be submitted reflecting the action.
The low bid of $30,240 was accepted from Tomahawk Fencing and Shoeing for the Atlantic City and South Pass City Snow Fence Removal Project ($15,120 for each location).
The Board accepted the recommendation of the 1% Committee for the transfer of an additional $300,000 for hot mix projects.
The MOVE Committee recommendations were approved as follows: Fremont County Fair Board in the amount of $80,000 for equipment for the recently purchased CWC property on Gasser Road; Chad Henshaw/Back-40 UAV Drone Photos in the amount of $25,000 for equipment and software; Riverton Youth Soccer Association in the amount of $39,800 for landscaping; and Taylor Murphy/Roll Off Dumpsters in the amount of $15,000 for new purchases.
The Board approved the executive appointment of a County Financial Compliance Officer.
