(Lander, WY) – Recently selected Clerk of District Court Amanda Sanchez was sworn in by Circuit Court Judge for the Ninth Judicial District Jefferson Coombs on Monday, Oct. 23.
Friends, family and co-workers gathered in the Commissioners’ Chambers at the Fremont County Courthouse to watch the ceremony and enjoy a reception.
Sanchez fills the vacancy left by the resignation of Kristi Green.
She will serve until a successor for the remainder of the unexpired term is elected at the next general election in 2024 and takes office on the first Monday in January 2025.
She plans to run in the 2024 general election.
