(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, January 24, will be mostly cloudy as a cold front swings north to south across the area.
This front means light to moderate snow is expected this afternoon into the evening hours, Lipson also advises. By midnight, we should see an inch or less of snow over Riverton and Shoshoni, 1-2 inches in Lander and the Wind River Canyon/Beaver Rim areas, and 2-4 inches for the Togwotee Pass, South Pass, and Sinks Canyon areas. Otherwise, Lipson says tonight will have mostly cloudy skies.
The National Weather Service in Riverton also reported that high temperatures will be in the 20’s for most today, and lows tonight in the lower teens and single digits.
