(Lander, WY) – The KOVE 1330 AM / 107.7 FM Today in the 10 interview series Coffee Time continued today with host Vince Tropea, who recently spoke with CooXooEii Black and Lisa McCart.
Lisa is the Native American Liaison for FCSD #1 Lander Schools, and she organized writing classes at the Lander schools with Black, who is an LVHS graduate and member of the Northern Arapaho Tribe.
Black is currently a professor teaching writing classes at the University of Memphis, and wanted to return to his home for a second year to inspire/teach the next generation of young writers.
Black, who used to submit written pieces for County 10, also chats about his creative process and where he gets inspiration from for his poetry, and also teases about an upcoming project he’s currently working on.
