(Lander, WY) – The KOVE 1330 AM / 107.7 FM Today in the 10 interview series Coffee Time continued today with host Vince Tropea, who recently spoke with Brynn Robeson with Lander Rural Fire of the Fremont County Fire Protection District.
Robeson was one of the many firefighters who responded to the Weiser Knoll Fire last weekend and the fire in Fort Washakie earlier this week, and shares firsthand accounts of what it was like responding to them.
Robeson also shares details on safety concerns that came up during those fires, how the public can best help responders during large-scale fires (Don’t fly drones and steer clear of responder vehicles and the active fire zones!), and reminds folks not to spread misinformation on social media about active fires or details that have yet to be confirmed by the proper channels. Robeson also gives a big shoutout to all of the community members and responder agencies that came together this past week.
