(Lander, WY) – The KOVE 1330 AM / 107.7 FM Today in the 10 interview series Coffee Time continued today with host Vince Tropea, who recently spoke with Mike Lewis, the president of the One Shot Antelope Hunt Club, and Carl Asbell board member of both Water for Wildlife and the One Shot Club.
Lewis and Asbell stopped by to talk about this year’s One Shot Antelope Hunt, which is now its 80th year.
The Hunt festivities begin today with a reception courtesy of Water for Wildlife, as well as the draw for guides in the Livery Stable at the Lander Pioneer Museum, and will conclude on September 21.
Lewis and Asbell share about some of the other events that happen in conjunction to the One Shot, including the Water for Wildlife banquet fundraiser on Thursday, and the hunter’s bullet blessing ceremony from local Eastern Shoshone Tribal members on Friday night.
