(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, January 9, will be sunny and colder behind yesterday’s cold front, with blustery northwest winds gusting up to 35 mph due to the tight pressure gradient on the back side of the associated exiting trough.
Blustery and cold conditions will continue tonight with northwest winds gusting up to 40 mph, but the winds will diminish after midnight.
The National Weather Service in Riverton also reported that highs will vary across Fremont today, with Lander, Riverton, and Shoshoni in the 30s, Jeffrey City and Dubois in the 20s, and South Pass at 18 degrees.
Lows tonight will be in the lower 20s and upper teens.
