(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, April 30, the expected Pacific trough will move through the area, meaning we will have cloudy, cool, and rainy conditions throughout the day, into the evening hours.
Precipitation on the east slope of the Wind River Mountains will fall as snow, Lipson added, where the Sinks Canyon and South Pass areas could see up to an inch of snow accumulation.
Clearing skies after midnight are expected.
The National Weather Service in Riverton also shared that the gloomy weather won’t last long, with a warming and dry trend expected this weekend.
High temperatures will be in the 40’s and 50’s today, with lows tonight in 30’s.
