(Lander, WY) – The Fremont County Commissioners will convene on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, to discuss a range of important issues. The meeting will take place in the County Commissioners’ Chambers at the Fremont County Courthouse in Lander, but residents are also encouraged to participate virtually via Zoom.
Agenda Highlights:
- 9:15 A.M. Public Comment: A dedicated time for residents to voice their concerns and provide input on agenda items.
- 9:30 A.M. Sheriff Ryan Lee’s Monthly Update: Sheriff Lee will present the latest updates from the Sheriff’s Office.
- 10:15 A.M. Budget Hearing: The Commissioners will conduct a budget hearing.
- 10:30 A.M. Chief Health Officer Interviews: The Commissioners will interview two candidates for the position of Chief Health Officer, including Dr. Shalini Forbis via Zoom and Dr. Joe Lucero.
- 11:30 A.M. Riverton Medical District Update: Vivian Watkins, a board member, will provide an update on the local hospital.
