(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that a strong trough of low pressure will track east across the Northern Rockies today, August 14, which will result in a strong chance of afternoon and evening thunderstorms, some of which will be accompanied by locally heavy rainfall, small hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph.
These storms will most likely go on into tonight, with continued shower activity after midnight.
The National Weather Service in Riverton has also shared that a drying and warming trend begins Thursday.
High temperatures for today will be in the 70’s for most, with lows tonight in the 50’s.
