(Fremont County, WY) – The Fremont County Coroner’s Office shared yesterday, October 23, that they are in possession of the unclaimed remains of 64-year-old Washington man John M Mitsoyianis (DOB: 06/21/1960).
Mitsoyianis passed away on Oct. 13 after a fatal rollover crash near Dubois.
The remains of Mitsoyianis, who hailed from Friday Harbor, Washington, have not been claimed by next of kin for disposition, or no next of kin have been found, according to the Coroner’s Office.
The Coroner’s notice informs that as per Wyoming Statute 7-4-207(a), after five days have passed following the discovery of the death and conclusion of investigation, in this case Oct. 23, the Coroner’s Office starts the process to “see to the disposition as indicated by the policies and procedures of said county.”
“Any and all persons in the community of interest at this time, or friends of the deceased, regardless of relation or affiliation with the deceased, may make claim upon the body for disposition,” the release concludes. “Anyone who wishes to make a claim, should call the Coroner’s Office at 307-856-7150.”
