(Lander, WY) – Lander Valley High School senior track athlete Brayden Johnson-Baker is our Athlete of the Week, presented by Wyoming Catholic College!
Johnson-Baker had an exceptional home track meet Saturday at the annual Shane Brock Invitational, winning three events.
Brayden won the 200 meter dash, besting the second-place competitor by .05 seconds. He edged his similarly-named junior teammate, Brayden Baker by just a tenth of a second to beat him in the 100 meter dash.
The senior was also part of the winning 4X100 meter relay team, with Fin Johnson, Brayden Baker and Cade Hallock.
Lander’s boys won the team standings, the Lady Tigers took second behind only Rock Springs.
