(Fremont County, WY) – Wind River wrestler Lily Miller is our Athlete of the Week, presented by Wyoming Catholic College!
Lily dominated the weekend on the mat, winning first place in the 145lb weight class at Wind River’s own Don Runner Tournament held in Pavillion.
Lily defeated Riverton’s Alyvia Smith in the championship round, winning via fall at the :52 second mark.
Miller’s teammate, Molly Bornhoft also won an individual championship, in the 115lb division. She beat Glenrock’s Lucy Ticknor in the title match also via fall at the 3:35 mark.
The Lady Cougars won the event easily with 140.5 team points. Glenrock was a distant second at 66 points. On the boys side, Glenrock had a dominant first place performance. Riverton took third and Wind River was forth.
