Editor’s Note: On March 30, the Riverton and Lander Police Departments and the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office reported a technical issue affecting the distribution of daily call logs until the problem is resolved. At that time, the FCSO implemented a workaround and was still able to send daily reports in a different format. The LPD has since manually provided the “cases of note” each day, if available, and those logs have been shared at the end of each week rather than daily.
The RPD was unable to implement a similar workaround until today, April 24. RPD PIO Bart Ringer shared the following, along with today’s release: “This is the new format for reports, and while it has its issues, at least I am FINALLY able to get the calls out. Please bear with me as I acclimatize.
