(Lander, WY) – A power outage is currently affecting 118 Rocky Mountain Power customers in Lander as of 9:40 PM, October 29, according to the Rocky Mountain Power Outage map and scanner traffic.
The first report was made at 8:49 PM, and the current estimated restoration time is by 3:30 AM, October 30.
The outage map states that crews are inspecting the cause, but scanner traffic overheard by County 10 indicates that a transformer blew out in the Buena Vista area (plus this reporter happened to be outside and see/hear the explosion off in the distance when it happened.)
