(Bridger-Teton National Forest) – The Dollar Lake Fire grew to 1,425.2 acres since yesterday, and is at 0% containment, according to the most recent update shared on the Watch Duty App today, August 22.
The fire is southwest of Dubois in the Green River Lakes area of the Pinedale Ranger District of the Bridger-Teton National Forest.
The Watch Duty app indicates the mandatory evacuation order issued yesterday for areas around Dollar Lake remains in effect, and as always, yield to responders if in the area.
Updates on the other fire reported yesterday in the Bridger-Teton National Forest, the Little Greys Fire, have not been shared as of this writing. The Watch Duty app still reports the acreage for that fire at 39.3 acres.
Just south of the Little Greys Fire is the newest fire reported today, the Willow Creek Fire, which is burning at 10 acres, about 4 miles southwest of Smoot.
