(Arapahoe, WY) – A large grass fire reported in the Arapahoe-area shortly after 3:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon quickly spread, burning roughly 150 acres of land between Arapahoe and Riverton.
Just before 7:00 p.m. the Riverton Volunteer Fire Department announced the blaze was in “mop-up stage” and that residents who had been evacuated from their homes on Rein Rd., Beatrice Dr., and Riverside Dr. were able to return.
