(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, December 24, will have a short-lived ridge of high pressure overhead, which means more dry conditions and partly sunny skies.
Lipson added that tonight, a weak trough of low pressure will approach the area, bringing increased clouds, winds up to 25 mph, and cooler temperatures.
The National Weather Service in Riverton also reported that tonight, light snow will fall mainly west of the divide, with the potential for a few locations east of the divide to see very light snow.
High temperatures will be in the 40’s for most today, with lows tonight in the 20’s.
As of this time, Christmas Day weather still looks to be a snowless affair.
