(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that today, August 11, will be hot, dry, windy, and dusty before some cooling monsoon moisture moves in tomorrow.
It will be mostly sunny in the morning, partly sunny in the afternoon, and skies will be smoky due to western wildfires. The high will be in the upper 90s, and Virga showers in the afternoon could produce brief wind gusts of up to 50 miles per hour. Otherwise, expect prevailing northwest winds of 20 to 30 miles per hour in the afternoon, and relative humidity will drop to 6%.
Tonight looks to be partly to mostly cloudy with areas of smoke, lows of 60 to 64 degrees, and evening northwest winds of 15 to 25 mph.
