(Lander, WY) – George Abeyta welcomed an audience of over a hundred locals and travelers alike on Wednesday evening at the Pioneer Museum, for a performance from his Eagle Spirit Dancers.
Describing the origin of each dance before the dancers took the floor, Abeyta shared his historical knowledge of Native American dance styles, always producing chuckles from those gathered with clever quips along the way.Colton SunRhodes danced with the grass dancers Wednesday night in Lander. Wednesday, August 13th, marks the Eagle Spirit Dancers’ last performance of the year at the Pioneer Museum. The event is free to attend, but donations to the dancers and to the museum are encouraged for those who come.
