(Riverton, WY) – It’s never easy to keep a secret, especially when it will benefit somebody. That’s what employees at First Interstate Bank had to do for the last few weeks.
They couldn’t tell anyone that Eagles Hope had been selected as the recipient of the First Interstate Foundation’s “Believe in Local” grant of $25,000.
They were selected based on their mission, shared Lori Mohler, First Interstate Bank Admin Assistant II.
First Interstate Foundation is awarding 40 grants totaling $1,000,000 to local nonprofits that provide invaluable services within the communities First Interstate Banks call home.
The large check was presented to Eagles Hope Executive Director Michelle Widmayer and several Board Members yesterday afternoon, June 11. It was met with tears, many hugs and a lot of joy.
“This is a big deal,” Michelle said. “This is going to help tremendously.”
