(Fort Washakie, WY) – Three candidate forum events have been confirmed for the upcoming Eastern Shoshone Business Council and Entertainment Committee elections.
The 2024 election dates are as follows: Primary Election is Tuesday, Sept. 17, and the General Election is Tuesday, Oct. 22.
The first event is tonight, Sept. 11, at Rocky Mountain Hall in the Buffalo Room, starting at 6 p.m. Tribal members and elders organized this “Meet the Candidate” event. There will NOT be a livestream. However, a recording should be made available at a later date, which will be shared on County 10.
The second candidate forum is slated for Sept. 16, from 5:30-7:30 p.m., also at Rocky Mountain Hall. This is being organized by the Eastern Shoshone Tribe Public Relations. They plan to livestream the forum to the Eastern Shoshone Tribe’s Facebook page.
