(Riverton, WY) – On Thursday, July 8th, at 2:27 PM, the Riverton Fire Department received reports of a structure fire that occurred near North Smith and Honor Farm Roads, later determined to be on Larkspur Lane.
According to RFD Fire Chief Brian Hutchins, “Upon arrival, half the structure was involved. The homeowner and pets were out of the house, and no other structures were threatened.”
RFD responded with 2 engine companies, 1 rescue truck, and 1 tanker, and were assisted by of FCSO, RPD, and Frontier EMS.
The report states that the cause of the fire was an “electrical issue in the living room wall, and the structure and contents are considered a total loss.”
