(Lander, WY) – An emergency power interruption will begin at 12 AM tonight in Lander, according to a message from Rocky Mountain Power sent out at around 9 PM, July 10.
“To keep our system in top condition in your area, we want to let you know about an emergency power interruption scheduled for Friday, July 11th, 2025,” the announcement states.
The outage will last 4 hours (until 4 AM) and will affect 5,383 customers.
“We know power interruptions are never convenient and greatly appreciate your patience,” Rocky Mountain Power also shared in the release.
“Some work can only be safely performed when the lines are de-energized. Our crews will take all steps possible to minimize the length of the interruption. As a precaution, please unplug any sensitive electronic equipment during the interruption. If you have any questions, call 1-888-221-7070. Our specialists will be happy to assist you.”
