(Fremont County, WY) – The Fremont County Emergency Management Agency (FCEMA) is advising residents that several locations in Dubois will have limited power available for essential medical and emergency equipment, such as oxygen concentrators, during the planned power outage scheduled for Thursday, October 24, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Residents who rely on powered medical devices or need to charge emergency supplies can access power at the following sites:
Dubois Fire Department – Power available for emergency medical equipment. To arrange access, please contact the Fremont County Emergency Management Agency at 307-856-2374.
Dubois K-12 School – Beginning after 3:00 p.m., power will be available for emergency supply needs.
Poolaw Building (Dubois Military Museum) Power will be available throughout the outage period for emergency use.
Pavillion residents who rely on powered medical devices and find that they are in need of power should contact the Fremont County Emergency Management at 307-856-2374 to arrange access to emergency access to power, during an outage, or contact the Fremont County Sheriff’s Department for immediate assistance.
Community members are encouraged to plan ahead, ensure portable oxygen and medical devices are charged prior to the outage, and reach out early if assistance is needed.
