(Fremont County, WY) – The previously reported date of October 15 has been updated to October 24 for High Plains Power’s scheduled power outage, which will affect the Diversion Dam, Pavillion, Crowheart, and Dubois areas.
“Tri-State G&T and WAPA have rescheduled their scheduled power outage for October 15th, 2025,” High Plains Power shared over the weekend. “The outage is now scheduled for October 24th, 2025. Please call the Riverton office with any questions.”
The outage will still take place from 1 to 5 PM.

The outage was initially going to cause early releases for Wind River and Dubois schools, but the date change will now not affect either school’s schedule.
