(Fremont County, WY) – The Fremont County Emergency Management Agency has announced that as of today, October 30, the evacuation levels for the following areas have been lifted:
Union Pass, Lava Mountain Lodge, Roaring River Subdivision, Buckboard Subdivision, Double Bar J Ranch, Lava Creek Ranch, Triangle C Ranch, Pelham Lake, Sheridan Creek Camp Areas, Old Mackenzie Ranch.
“While the immediate threat of the wildfire has been mitigated, we urge residents to remain cautious,” the notice states. “Please be on the lookout for any residual hazards such as smoldering hotspots or damaged infrastructure.”
They also advise to “inspect your property for any signs of residual fire activity or damage” and “avoid entering any areas that appear unsafe.”
