Fall is right around the corner, and Porter’s Supply Co. is ready to welcome it with an evening of food, music, family fun and a little friendly competition.
Fireside Fest returns to Porter’s in Riverton on Thursday, September 10, from 4–8 pm at 750 E. Sunset Drive. The annual fall celebration has something for everyone, so grab the family and come ready to spend an evening outdoors.
Visitors can enjoy live music from The Tinderwoods, a farmers market, fresh sweet corn for sale by 1890 Farms, LLC, food trucks (WyoSips, WyoPhilly, and Little Cravin’s by Dulce V), a petting zoo, face painting, and s’mores around the fire.
Whether you’re there to grab something delicious, browse the market, or simply settle in and enjoy a crisp September evening, Fireside Fest is all about kicking off fall together.
New This Year: Think You’ve Got the Chops?
There’s a new competition coming to Fireside Fest this year, and Porter’s is looking for a few brave souls willing to put their wood-chopping skills to the test.
Four contestants will compete in the first-ever Fireside Fest Firewood Chopping Competition, and right now, those four spots are up for grabs!
Want in? Email teri@county10.com to volunteer as a contestant. Spots are first come, first served, so if you think you’ve got the chops, don’t wait too long to throw your hat in the ring.
Then come September 10, everyone else can gather around to cheer them on and see who can make the chips fly.

Fireside Fest may wrap up at 8 pm on the 10th, but the fun at Porter’s is just getting started! The celebration kicks off Porter’s 48th Anniversary Sale, September 10–12, with discounts on grills and accessories, spas and hearth products, plus prize drawings with in-store purchases. And if a new stove is on your wish list, purchase a qualifying Blaze King stove through September 12, and you’ll be entered for a chance to win your stove, with the purchase price paid. Three days, 48 years and plenty of reasons to celebrate at Porter’s!
