(Hudson, WY) – No injuries were reported during a February 24 shed fire in Hudson, according to a release issued by the Fremont County Fire Protection District (FCFPD) on February 25.
FCFPD units were dispatched to the fire at 9:36 PM, which was reported in the 100 block of Main Street.
Units from Battalion 1 (Central Fire) and Battalion 10 (Hudson Fire) responded to the incident, the release states, and upon arrival, crews located a shed fully involved with fire.
“There was an initial concern for extension into an additional nearby structure,” the release continues. “Firefighters initiated an aggressive fire attack and worked quickly to contain the fire and prevent further spread. Crews remained on scene for overhaul operations to ensure all remaining hot spots were extinguished.”
Assisting agencies included Frontier Ambulance and the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office.
The fire was ultimately contained, and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
