One of the action items for the evening is the consideration and discussion of a petition to hire a full time music teacher for FCSD #1.
Currently there are two teachers who split their time between Lander Middle School and Lander Valley High School for grades 6-12, and the petition hopes to add a third, full time teacher to help alleviate the workload of the current music educators and provide a more balanced education to students.
