(Dubois, WY) – Fremont County School District #2 Dubois has been granted an exception to lift the mask mandate, and masks will now be optional starting this Friday, April 30th.
In a statement made on the school’s website, an application was submitted on Tuesday, April 27th, and an official announcement was made on the school’s Facebook page Thursday.
Dubois schools now join District’s #6, #24, and #1, to all be approved for variances, with #1 awaiting board approval.
FCSD #25 Riverton also potentially seeks a variance, but not until the area’s COVID-19 levels reach a “low transmission level” status for a continuous two weeks, as per their Smart Start Plan.
