Two state senators and three state representatives have confirmed their participation in the Lander Chamber of Commerce’s upcoming Legislative Session Preview luncheon scheduled for Tuesday, December 3rd at the Lander Community & Convention Center.
Senators Cale Case (R-25) and Tim Salazar (R-26) will be joined by Representatives John Winter (R-28), Pepper Ottman (R-34), and Lloyd Larsen (R-54) as they highlight their interim legislative activities as well as share what issues they expect to address when the Wyoming Legislature convenes its General Session on January, 14th in Cheyenne. A general Q&A will follow legislators’ individual comments.

Private Meetings with Legislators Returning to Agenda
At the request of some of its members, the Lander Chamber is bringing back its Meet Your Legislators Day to coincide with its luncheon. Sweeney explained, “These 15-minute private meetings are an opportunity for our members — and members of the public — to schedule a private session with the participating legislators to discuss issues of importance to their business or organization. Many issues before the legislature can be quite technical and industry-specific, and they aren’t really suitable for the public Q&A portion of the luncheon.”
Interested parties are invited to contact the Lander Chamber at 307-332-3892 or support@landerchamber.org to reserve a 15-minute spot. Priority will be given to Lander Chamber of Commerce members. While there is no cost to reserve a private session, attendees of the luncheon must purchase a ticket. ($30 for all Lander, Riverton, and Dubois chamber members. $40 for guests.)
