(Fremont County, WY) – County 10 meteorologist Dave Lipson has shared that patchy, dense fog will dissipate by 10-11 AM today, January 8, which will be followed by increasing clouds ahead of the next upper-level disturbance moving in from the northwest.
Lipson says light snow is possible by around 4 PM, with more snow showers tonight following the trough of low pressure moving across the area. Snow accumulation is expected to be 1-3 inches for South Pass, Beaver Rim, and the Wind River Mountains, and up to an inch for Lander and Riverton.
The National Weather Service in Riverton also reported that we should expect gusty winds throughout the day.
High temperatures will be in the 20’s today, with lows tonight in the single digits for most.
